10 Quick First Time Mom Tips

Excited? Nervous? Expecting! Sometimes all of the emotions can get the hold of us.. what to feel what to do and just hoping not to miss out on anything! Well, here is a quick tip list to guide you and to assure you are doing the basics right. And remember, as long you are loving towards you and the new baby growing inside of you are already doing over 50% of everything you need to do.
1. DRINK MORE WATER
The general number of glasses of water per day is 10. You should at least try to meet the regular standard.
Get into a habit of keeping a water bottle by yourself at all times

2. EAT YOUR VEGGIES
Some good super veggies for pregnancy are broccoli, leafy greens, asparagus, and avocados.
3. GO BANANAS
Don’t forget your fruits as well! The best fruits for pregnancy are bananas, oranges, raisins, cherries, and cranberries.

4. FIND A GOOD DOCTOR
It is important that you trust your doctor, he or she needs to be someone you can talk to without restrictions. This is something you cannot be too picky about.

5. START SHOPPING!
You want to be prepared for your next trimester with your maternity clothes, don’t wait until you get uncomfortable!
6. GET A JOURNAL
Journal everything- from the changes you experience in your body to how you are feeling. It might come in handy during the pregnancy or at least it could make for nice memory later on.
7. TAKE PICTURES
Same as writing down your memories in a journal, keep track of your belly growth with weekly or monthly pictures.

8. TALK TO YOU BABY
Unborn babies can hear sounds just like born babies can. Hearing your voice will help him recognize you easier when he gets out. A great tip is to decide which lullaby will you sing your baby to sleep with and already start practicing it now.

9. SAVE MONEY
Baby showers are actually a great solution to save money on all the baby clothes and diapers you will have stocked up!

10. ENJOY
These 9 months go by way faster than you think. Make sure you enjoy it every minute and wake up with gratitude of what’s to come.
